Gambit’s state-of-the-art solutions work with a scientific approach to bring intuitive and user-friendly tools to investment advisory, delivered either through an advisory-guided or a fully autonomous customer journey. Gambit is driven by a simple but innovative ambition: placing the client at the center of financial investment advisory with a fully digitalized experience.
In a context of tightened regulatory oversight, Gambit tools help financial institutions to better fulfill their legal obligations while providing an innovative and digital answer for demanding investors looking at their financial savings.
Gambit’s algorithms and interfaces for client profiling, portfolio optimization, and risk management are embedded inside the advisory platforms of an increasing number of private and retail banks, asset managers, and insurance companies in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, and Switzerland.
Through this investment and the acquisition of a majority stake, BNP Paribas Asset Management is adding an advanced digital offering for investment advisory, while preserving Gambit’s independence which has been central to the firm’s success. This investment will support the accelerated development of Belgian Fintech’s investment solutions, on a global scale, for financial institutions of all sizes. Furthermore, Gambit will become the preferred digital solution of BNP Paribas Group’s Retail and Wealth Management networks.
“We are proud to have entered into this strategic partnership with BNP Paribas Asset Management. This partnership provides us with the support of a major financial institution and with additional resources to fuel our growth. The Drake Star Partners team provided invaluable support on this project through their understanding of the technology subtleties, the management of the process, and the conduct of negotiations. They maintained close ties with the team and accompanied us with effectiveness” explains Geoffroy De Schrevel, Chief Executive Officer of Gambit Financial Solutions.
Christophe Morvan, Managing Partner at Drake Star declared: “Managing a dual-track process helped generate a strong level of interest among investors. Eventually, BNP Paribas Asset Management was able to win over Gambit’s management team. Drake Star Partners once again demonstrated its expertise in the area of new technologies, and especially Fintech. This international transaction concludes a broad distribution process and swift deal execution. Gambit’s financial shareholders mark their exit from the company with this new investment.”
