Redwood advises Alethean on its restructuring

LOS ANGELES | October 20th, 2011 – Redwood Capital (“Redwood”) has announced the successful completion of a restructuring of Alethean, LLC. (“Alethean” or the “Company”). As part of the restructuring, Redwood was successful in refinancing the senior note, restructuring the operations of the business, and closing on interim financing. Alethean invests in CPA firms in order to build their wealth management services and has contracts with several of the top 50 CPA firms in the U.S. covering over 1,000 financial professionals. Alethean provides succession liquidity and non-proprietary wealth management products and services, as well as identifies and accelerates acquisitions of other RIA firms.
